From Innovation to Impact: TT Ecosystem @ Ecosperity Week and PAS

22 Apr 2026

This year, the Philanthropy Asia Summit (PAS) — organised by the Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA) and supported by Temasek Trust and Temasek Foundation — will once again be co-located with Ecosperity Week 2026, presented by Temasek, creating opportunities for engagement across the philanthropic and impact communities.

As we gear up for a pivotal week of convening and collaboration in Singapore, the Temasek Trust ecosystem will be driving a series of initiatives across both platforms. From advancing cross-sector partnerships to spotlighting scalable climate solutions, here’s a look at what lies ahead in May.

What to Expect at the Philanthropy Asia Summit

PAS 2026 returns from 18–20 May 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Themed "Asian Innovation. Global Good.", the Summit convenes leaders across sectors to examine how proven approaches from Asia in Climate, Health, and Inclusive Development can reach further and move faster.

With more than 50+ sessions and 150+ speakers, PAS 2026 will bring together policymakers, philanthropists, business leaders, and practitioners across three days of plenaries, panels, partner-led sessions, and an expanded Innovation Showcase featuring ventures from leading accelerator programmes.

Temasek Trust and our ecosystem entities, including the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP), Co-Axis, Mandai Nature, Temasek Foundation, Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory, Temasek Shophouse, and the Wealth Management Institute, will contribute sessions and programming throughout the Summit.

On Day 4, curated Impact Journeys will offer immersive, on-the-ground experiences of innovation in practice.

Advancing Impact Investing and Climate Solutions at Ecosperity Week 2026

Organised by Temasek, Ecosperity Week 2026 convenes global leaders, innovators, and investors at a pivotal moment for Asia’s sustainable development. As the region advances towards its 2030 ambitions, the week will spotlight how innovation — guided by intent and enabled by collaboration — is unlocking scalable solutions across AI, sustainable infrastructure, electrification, and climate resilience.

Impact Investing Roundtable: Capital for Impact

As a partner event of Ecosperity Week, the Impact Investing Roundtable (IIR) — co-organised by CIIP and Temasek — will take place on 19 May 2026.

Speakers and delegates at the 2025 edition of the IIR.

The Roundtable will bring together investors and industry leaders to examine how impact investing is evolving amid shifting capital flows and rising uncertainty. It will explore where impact is becoming investable at scale, how investors are strengthening measurement and accountability, and what is needed to unlock the next phase of growth. Discussions will spotlight emerging opportunities, mispriced risks, and the role of stronger collaboration, governance, pipelines, and capital structuring in catalysing scale.

A new report by CIIP will also be launched at the Roundtable. As climate risks intensify across Asia, the study examines the cost of inaction alongside opportunities to strengthen resilience — covering the economics of climate impact, the role of private and philanthropic capital, and how funding can be effectively directed towards practical, scalable solutions.

The Liveability Challenge: Spotlight on Climate Innovation

Also taking place during the week, The Liveability Challenge (TLC), presented by Temasek Foundation and organised by Eco-Business, with A*STAR as co-presenter for Decarbonisation, returns for its 9th edition as Asia’s largest sustainability solutions platform.

A panel comprising public, private, and philanthropic sector representatives evaluated proposals from across the world to shortlist the 8 finalists for TLC 2026.

At the Grand Finale on 20 May 2026, eight finalists, selected from over 1,500 submissions across more than 100 countries, will take the stage to pitch solutions across two tracks: Decarbonisation and Cool Earth.

From rethinking how buildings are cooled to transforming waste into valuable resources, the finalists will showcase their cutting-edge climate innovations as they compete for a total prize pool of more than S$4 million in catalytic funding

The eight finalists are:

  • Endo Enterprises (United Kingdom): Closed-loop hydronic additive for the built environment that reduces cooling energy use by up to 15%.
  • FlueVault (Singapore): Low-cost industrial CO₂ capture and storage with critical metal recovery.
  • MacroCycle Technologies (United States): Textile-to-textile polyester recycling with significantly reduced energy, emissions, and water use.
  • Metha8 (Singapore): Methanol-to-power technology for 24/7 baseload generation with integrated CO₂ capture.
  • Power to Hydrogen (United States): Low-cost hydrogen production system with improved durability and lower capex.
  • SPACECOOL (Japan): Passive radiative cooling that reduces energy use and urban heat.
  • UP Catalyst (Estonia): Uses flue gas to produce battery-grade carbon materials at lower cost.
  • YAMA (France): Electrified carbon capture for dilute gas streams with lower costs and flexible operation.
