Impact Highlights 2026: Partnerships in Action Across Our 4Ps

21 Aug 2026

Partnerships can take many forms: bringing together researchers and conservationists, investors and entrepreneurs, communities across borders, or innovators and industry.

Across the Temasek Trust Collective, these collaborations help turn shared ambitions into action across our four strategic priorities of Planet, People, Peace, and Progress.

Here are four stories from Impact Highlights 2026: Partnerships for Impact that show what this looks like in practice.

Planet: A Decade of Action for the Raffles' Banded Langur

Found only in Singapore and Southern Peninsular Malaysia,
the critically endangered Raffles’ Banded Langur depends on sustained conservation across borders.

In 2016, Mandai Nature convened the Raffles’ Banded Langur Working Group, bringing together researchers, government agencies, conservation organisations, and citizen scientists from Singapore and Malaysia. Over the past decade, partners have advanced population research, restored habitat connectivity, engaged communities, and strengthened the long-term protection of the species.

Today, Singapore is home to approximately 80 Raffles’ Banded Langurs, with the population projected to triple by 2071 from 2025 levels. The collaboration has also helped catalyse a wider regional conservation plan for threatened Asian primates.

The partnership shows how sustained scientific, public-sector, and community collaboration can safeguard biodiversity while building a foundation for conservation beyond national borders.

People: Expanding Early Autism Care in China

Early intervention can significantly improve outcomes for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, yet timely, quality support remains difficult to access for many families in China, particularly outside major cities.

ABC Impact invested in Dami & Xiaomi (DMXM), an early autism intervention provider in China, to help scale its evidence-based model which combines in-person therapy, caregiver training, and technology-enabled support.

Since the investment, DMXM has expanded to 74 therapy centres across China, with more than half outside Tier 1 cities. ABC Impact has also provided technical assistance and co-funded an outcomes study to strengthen the evidence behind DMXM's approach.

The partnership shows how impact capital, combined with technical support and evidence-building, can help extend quality care to more children and families.

Peace: A Shared Stage for Inclusion

Music can bring people together across abilities and borders.

Through Symphony of Friendship 2.0, Temasek Foundation partnered the Raja Zarith Sofiah of Johor Foundation and Central Singapore Community Development Council to connect musicians of diverse abilities from Singapore and Malaysia.

The initiative culminated at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, where The Purple Symphony performed alongside the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and performers from Malaysia’s Ministry of Education.

Beyond the stage, the collaboration built confidence among musicians, strengthened organisational capabilities, and showed how the performing arts can create space for inclusion, connection, and friendship.

Progress: Taking Climate Innovation from Idea to Deployment

For climate technologies to move from promise to deployment, innovators need the right support to test, fund, and scale their solutions.

Across Singapore, China, Indonesia, and Vietnam, Temasek Foundation works with local partners to support climate innovation challenges that provide winning teams with catalytic funding to pilot and scale their solutions, while helping unlock pathways to follow-on investment.

Together, these platforms help near-market-ready climate technologies advance towards commercial deployment and wider adoption.

    Many Partnerships, One Shared Purpose

These four stories represent just a snapshot of the work taking place across the Temasek Trust Collective.

From conserving biodiversity and widening access to essential services, to strengthening inclusive communities and accelerating climate innovation, they show the breadth of challenges that partnerships can help address — and the different strengths that public, private, philanthropic, and community partners bring to the table.
