At Co-Axis, a global digital impact marketplace, Erin Gunanto channels her passion for community, storytelling, and connection into supporting innovative projects that address urgent environmental and social challenges.
Through communications, engagement, and fundraising, she brings together impact opportunities — such as ventures, non-profit organisations, and social enterprises — with like-minded funders. The goal is to unlock capital for scalable, lasting solutions that advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
"This role lets me use my love for storytelling and community-building to support meaningful projects that are driving positive change."
— Erin Gunanto, Co-Axis
What drives Erin most is the human side of impact: hearing firsthand from passionate founders and their teams, understanding their vision, and helping them to find the support they need to scale their impact.
Unlocking Catalytic Capital for Impact Opportunities
Today, Co-Axis features about 100 transformative solutions from over 40 countries — across impact categories including agriculture, biodiversity, climate, diversity and inclusion, education, employment, financial services, health, and more.
"It’s always inspiring speaking with passionate founders committed to growing meaningful solutions and ventures," Erin shares.

Co-Axis offers a curated pipeline of opportunities for funders based on their preferred mandate. It also provides funders and founders with on-platform impact screening, matchmaking tools, and a comprehensive knowledge hub with thought leadership and useful resources.
To foster connections beyond the platform and cultivate a thriving global impact community, the team also regularly hosts engagement events, webinars, and workshops that bring together innovators, investors, and other key stakeholders.
"Building trust and journeying with the impact opportunities has been critical for us to match them with the right funders."

These sessions, along with ongoing conversations with potential projects that may be onboarded to Co-Axis, allow Erin and her team to interact directly with the people behind bold, high-impact solutions.
She is also encouraged by the growing interest in impact investing and strategic giving from a wider pool of funders.

Powered by Partnerships and Purpose
Erin highlights the importance of working with like-minded collaborators such as Arta Finance, Endowus, and B Corps China to spotlight promising ventures and bring them to a broader audience.
Through these partnerships, funders can hear firsthand from innovators and explore how they may support the promising, impactful projects that reflect their values and aspirations.
"Building strong, meaningful relationships with key stakeholders — including partners, founders, and funders — is key to our success," she notes.

This collaborative spirit extends across the Temasek Trust ecosystem. Through the Amplifier mentorship programme, co-developed by the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices and the Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA), ventures such as MAYANI and MYCL were referred to Co-Axis and now feature on the platform.
Co-Axis was also showcased at the Philanthropy Asia Summit 2025, organised by PAA, as part of the Innovation Spotlight and Innovation Showcase segments.
“It’s exciting to work with colleagues across the Temasek Trust ecosystem. Our initiatives and programmes complement each other and help to scale our collective impact,” Erin says.
For Erin, these collaborations reflect values she has long held close.
Before stepping into her current role, she worked at a non-profit organisation advancing sustainable development through training and development programmes for marginalised communities across the Asia Pacific. That experience helped her better understand grassroots impact and strengthened her belief in the importance of connection and shared purpose in driving meaningful, lasting change.
This grounding continues to guide her work at Co-Axis today — and how she finds balance beyond it.
She carves out time to recharge through yoga and barre, and relishes the creative process of experimenting with recipes or trying out new restaurants. These help her stay centred and energised for the journey ahead.
Erin’s story is part of ‘People of Purpose’, a series that spotlights colleagues across the Temasek Trust ecosystem who are driving meaningful impact. Each story reflects the spirit of collective action and our shared journey toward inclusive, sustainable change.
