- Spotlighting Asia’s climate innovators and changemakers in the lead-up to and during Earthshot Week, in Singapore and Cape Town
Temasek Trust
- Exchanging insights and fostering collaboration through our first Strategy Collective — "Frontiers in Impact: Planet" — with fruitful exchanges on how public, private, and philanthropic stakeholders can collaborate to urgently combat climate change, during sessions such as the Reducing Our Carbon Footprint and Collaboration and Innovation for Impact segments
- Holding our first People Sector Leaders' Luncheon, sharing with key stakeholders our openness and commitment to collaborations that will strengthen Singapore's impact ecosystem
- Catalytic Capital for Climate & Health (C3H), an impact-first vehicle by Temasek Trust, investing in Notpla, a sustainable packaging innovator
ABC Impact
- Bringing together partners, investors, and stakeholders for its Investor Day, themed "Driving Asia’s Next Chapter", for conversations around the future of impact investing in Asia
- Securing over US$550 million in the first close of Fund II with support from new investors, and making its first two investments from Fund II — Aye Finance and Tekoma Energy
- Sharing highlights and outcomes of ABC Impact’s 2023 efforts in its latest Impact Review, named "Building Bridges pf Impact Across Asia"
- Releasing its impact outcomes study, in collaboration with Dalberg Advisors, to provide a closer look at the real-world outcomes that its investments have achieved
Asia Centre for Changemakers, established by the Wealth Management Institute
- Building capabilities and professionalising the philanthropy sector with the Certified Impact Philanthropy Professional programme
- Introducing the Changemaker Impact Endeavour Fellowship (CHIEF) to empower funders and social innovators to become more impactful changemakers
- Kickstarting the Research-cum-Dialogue Series, which delves into topics in philanthropy that are often not well understood, with the first edition titled "What is Legacy?"
Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP)
- Enabling meaningful discussions on climate resilience and an inclusive energy transition, at the Impact Investing Roundtable, organised by Temasek and CIIP, as part of Ecosperity Week
- Hosting the "Southeast Asia’s Fintech Opportunity: Unlocking Financial Inclusion" panel with Quona Capital
- Facilitating a roundtable discussion with ASEAN’s Working Committee on Financial Inclusion and other partners
- Sharing insights about public-private partnerships supporting food production and rural growth, at the Asia-Pacific Agri-Food Innovation Summit
- Developing the "Seeding the Future: Transforming Smallholder Farms for a Sustainable Tomorrow" report with Wavemaker Impact, supported by the Philanthropy Asia Alliance
Co-Axis
- Launching the first phase of the Co-Axis digital impact marketplace, with the support of many leading industry partners, to unlock risk capital and harness the power of community to scale and speed up impact innovations
- Partnering Arta Finance to unlock US$30 million over two years for Co-Axis impact projects, which are all aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Spotlighting catalytic capital and and mentoring impact innovators at Earthshot Week in Cape Town
Mandai Nature
- Growing Southeast Asia’s youth conservation network at the World Wildlife Day Regional Youth Symposium in Singapore
- Launching the first genus action plan to galvanise conservation for Asian langurs across Southeast Asia
- Releasing its 2023/2024 Impact Report showcasing significant strides in protecting and preserving biodiversity, through collaborations with its conservation partners in the field
- Participating in the Festival of Biodiversity and sharing about Mandai Nature’s and Mandai Wildlife Group’s biodiversity conservation and management efforts
- Supporting the establishment of the CITES Global Youth Network and key initiatives such as the inaugural Youth Leadership Programme
MoneyOwl
- Revamping the MoneyOwl website to serve as the individual’s trusted financial planning guide for all of life’s money milestones
- Enabling better financial security at scale through financial literacy programmes for corporates and communities
Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA)
- Driving systems thinking and collective impact at the Philanthropy Asia Summit, in partnership with Temasek’s Ecosperity Week, through plenary sessions with action and thought leaders, partner events anchored by PAA’s partners, and experiential Impact Journeys led by PAA members
- Exploring energy sustainability and ocean protection through the Philanthropy Asia Summit’s immersive Impact Journeys at the Sembcorp Tengeh Floating Solar Farm and OceanXplorer by OceanX, respectively
- Visiting a mangrove conservation sanctuary, Taman Wisata Alam Angke Kapuk, in Jakarta
Stewardship Asia Centre
- Organising the Steward Leadership Summit which explored the most pressing challenges of our time and how businesses can not only drive profits but also create meaningful, lasting impact
- Honouring 25 projects that are driving profitable growth by addressing the challenges that threaten humanity, with the Steward Leadership 25 award
- Commemorating its 10th anniversary with valued partners and supporters, over an evening of conversations on progress and stewardship
- Concluding the Asia-Pacific-wide research study, "Boards as Stewards of Sustainability", with 13 other organisations
Temasek Foundation (TF)
- Identifying and helping innovative solutions to scale sustainably with The Liveability Challenge, with CricketOne and GAFT emerging as top winners for 2024
- Improving health, well-being, and development outcomes for mothers and children through the TF Maternal and Child Health Collaboration with KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Taguig City
- Empowering its scholarship and study award recipients to drive positive impact in communities, through the TF STAR (Steadfast, Thoughtful, Adaptable, Resilient) Event
- Helping grow the impact of promising ground-up groups through the TF Pledge for Good Initiative, by raising awareness of their work and enhancing their network and support base
Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (TLL)
- Hosting Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam for a tour presenting key TLL initiatives such as the Wolbachia mosquitoes project and technologies for precision urban farming
- First batch of freshwater fish harvested from Singapore’s first container fish farm located in an HDB estate — the project is a partnership between Aqualita Ecotechnology and Tampines Town Council
- Breeding tomato varieties suitable for urban farming, at Gardens by the Bay
- Hosting the Earthshot Prize Asia Youth Leaders Programme participants at its research facilities
Temasek Shophouse
- Joining the global Impact Hub network as their first Community Partner in Singapore, unlocking opportunities for knowledge sharing, capacity building, and co-creation of impactful initiatives
- Jamming with fellow music enthusiasts at the Let’s Jam! sessions, uniting people of various ages, backgrounds, and abilities and creating memories through music
- Bridging sustainability and heritage at the School of Tomorrow Term 2 exhibition, with a new History Class and fireside chats — watch the event highlights here
TT Foundation Advisors (TTFA)
- Launching as the philanthropy advisory services arm of Temasek Trust, and unveiling the TTFA website
- Piloting an initiative, in partnership with the Office of the Commissioner of Charities, to provide diligence screening for charities
- Building capabilities to drive meaningful and lasting impact, with an expanded team
- Encouraging corporate giving at the Caixin Global Asia New Vision Forum
Tri-Sector Associates
- Equipping social sector leaders to create measurable impact, through the inaugural Tri-Sector Catalytic Impact Studio, a series of masterclasses
- Sharing insights on leveraging blended finance and how technical assistance could play a role in accelerating the low-carbon transition, at the Philanthropy Asia Summit
- Supporting the Skills for Success initiative, which enables young people who are currently not in education, employment or training to bridge the skills gap to employment
CIIP and PAA
- Kicking off the Amplifier 12-month mentorship programme, which aims to support impact startups to scale, and welcoming the first cohort of mentees with a fruitful induction week in Singapore
