Calling themselves The Neighbourhood Spideys, the team of five students and alumni from Singapore Polytechnic wanted to do something for the community by 3-D printing ear savers for face mask.

The name Matchsticks embodies the sense of hope that we aspire to be for the mental health community. We hope to ignite the passion to serve the mental health community in others, in order to spark a difference as we move toward being a more inclusive society.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Temasek Trust’s [email protected] fund supported ground-up initiatives that serve the needs of the vulnerable communities in Singapore affected by the crisis. TTC 2019 was held on 29 October 2019 at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore. Themed “New Pathways of Philanthropy”, the conversation brought together local and international speakers to kick start a new series of conversations, exploring new philanthropic pathways to remain relevant in the ever-evolving giving landscape.
